SureScan Corporation this week announced it has appointed LeeAnn Levesque as President. Promoted from the post of General Manager, which she has held since 2004, Ms. Levesque has been responsible for the design, manufacture and sale of SureScan’s x1000 computed tomography explosives detection checked baggage screening solution.
Ms. Levesque’s leadership in her new role is expected to better enable SureScan to capture market share with the x1000 stationary gantry explosive detection system (EDS) for checked baggage screening.

Ms. Levesque brings 25 years of industry experience and industry contacts to her new position, having spent her early career in Stuttgart, Germany and Washington, D.C. focused on developing contract opportunities with government agencies including the Department of Defense. Her experience includes work with Bolt, Beranek & Newman securing Department of Defense contracts, management positions at Cable & Wireless in Europe as well as Director of Sales for global contract manufacturer, Sanmina-SCI.
