In Pictures: Kentucky Hospital Association

In today’s CBRNe Big Picture, we feature healthcare professionals from the Kentucky Hospital Association undergoing training at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) in Anniston, Ala.

Personnel decontaminate a simulated patient during the Integrated Capstone Event (ICE). Approximately 80 healthcare professionals and emergency responders, representing eight of the 13 regional coalitions, trained during April 2014 at the CDP’s Noble Training Facility and the Advanced Responder Training Complex.

These response personnel joined colleagues across the U.S. in the Healthcare Leadership for Mass Casualty Incidents (HCL) course, the Emergency Medical Operations for CBRNE Incidents (EMO) course, and the Hospital Emergency Response Training for Mass Casualty Incidents (HERT) course.
