Aircraft Biological Decontamination System

The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD), Joint Project Manager for Protection (JPM P) is seeking information from industry regarding its capability to conduct biological decontamination of military cargo aircraft.

Specific information is sought for industry solutions that are capable of thorough biological decontamination of the interior and exterior of cargo aircraft, e.g. the US Air Force C-130 Hercules, without equipment degradation.

Designs may be stand-alone, or integrate with existing military structures. The logistics impact must be considered and should be discussed in the response.

To maximize flexibility and affordability, it is desired that systems also be capable of delivering decontamination technologies to address thorough chemical agent decontamination as well as the capability to allow for decontamination of additional airframes or other platforms.

Further details are available via Solicitation Number: W911QY15JPMPDECON. The response deadline is January 30, 2015.
