The Department of Defense (DoD) Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) Office is interested in receiving proposals for innovative research in specified Munitions Response and Weapons Systems and Platforms.
The Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) effort is part of the SERDP Exploratory Development (SEED) program. Topics of interest include:
- Modeling Predictions of Munitions Penetration in a Variety of Soils
- Development of Methodologies for Evaluating Emissions from Metal-Based Energetic and Pyrotechnic Formulations
- Environmentally Sound and Safe Military Munition Demilitarization
SERDP intends to competitively fund research and development projects to establish proof of concept for innovative environmental technologies and methods. These projects will be funded at a level not to exceed $150,000 in total cost and approximately one year in duration.
