Narcotic Field Test Kits

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection is seeking sources to support routine field testing of suspected controlled substances utilizing various Narcotic Field Test Kits (NFTK) to detect and prevent drug trafficking.

CBP’s mission is to facilitate the legitimate flow of people and cargo into and out of this country while denying entry to persons or cargo that would be dangerous to this country or which for any of a number of reasons may be denied entry.

Two manufacturers whose kits have been authorized by CBP for such use are ODV Inc. and NIK Public Safety, Inc.  While other brands are also used by CBP, the purpose of this RFI is to identify potential sources/resellers for NFTK made by ODC and NIK. CBP is requesting Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing for each individual kit.  Please include this in your response.

Further details are available via Solicitation Number: 20089349. The response deadline is January 19, 2016.
