Industry Day – Innovation in Nuclear Communications

The Cyber Innovation Center and Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command (AFSG) will host an Industry Day on Dec. 10, 2014 in Bossier City, Louisiana.

With the theme “Innovation in Nuclear Communications,” the event’s purpose is to seek industry collaboration for new methods to deliver resilient, cost-effective nuclear communications capabilities to the warfighter.

The Industry Day will focus on the following areas:

  • Ground Based Strategic Deterrence post Analysis of Alternatives Way-Ahead
  • Modernizing Legacy Communications Capabilities
  • Hardened Power Options
  • Robust Survivable Communications

Abstracts from industry and academia will be accepted in response to the four topics listed above. Selected submissions will be invited to present during the Industry Day. Briefings to AFGSC leadership will be conducted in private sessions.

Industry and academia may also host exhibits that are relevant to the purpose and theme of Industry Day. Space is limited. A 10′ x 10′ area with an 8 ft. table, two chairs, blue pipe and drape on the sides and back, a trash can, and electricity will be provided at no charge. Exhibitors will not attend the AFGSC briefings.

Both abstract submissions and exhibitor applications must be received by Nov. 17, 2014. Details are available here at FedBizOpps.gov.
