Syracuse Research Corp. Awarded JIDA Contract

The U.S. Army Contracting Command yesterday announced that Syracuse Research Corp. Inc. (SRC), North Syracuse, New York, was recently awarded a contract related to explosives threat countermeasures.

The contract calls for Syracuse Research Corp. to continue critical support to the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Agency, J3X (Operations-Special Plans) Branch, Sensitive Integrated Office.

The incrementally funded 12-month bridge is valued at $7,128,211.

Work will be performed in Reston, Virginia; Tampa, Florida; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Afghanistan, Iraq, and Qatar, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 5, 2016.
