The U.S. federal government has recently awarded the following notable contract related to the fields of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) or explosives countermeasures, equipment or services:
Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio, was awarded a $24,917,774 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the Common Analytical Laboratory Systems engineering manufacturing and development effort.
The resultant contract will be a combination of cost-plus-incentive-fee, firm-fixed-price, and fixed-price-incentive-firm-target. This is for non-recurring engineering, test support, and development.
Work will be performed in Columbus, Ohio, with an estimated completion date of April 30, 2018. Bids were solicited via the Internet with four received.
Fiscal 2015 research, development, testing and evaluation funds in the amount of $20,028,259 are being obligated at the time of the award.
Army Contracting Command – Edgewood Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W911SR-15-C-0014).
