BBI Detection has entered into a partnership with OUVRY to add the DECPOL® Emergency Decontamination Mitt to their portfolio of products.
DECPOL® is an emergency CBRN dry decontamination solutions, composed of a super absorbent material permeated with advanced catalyzers. The mitt absorbs a wide spectrum of contaminants such as nerve agents and biological agents, these are subsequently destroyed by the catalyzers contained within the mitt.
The decontamination market has long struggled to overcome technology limitations associated with cross contamination and potential further contamination through powder dispersion. The DECPOL® mitt is designed to addresses these challenges with its innovative features.
DECPOL® mitt complements the company’s IMASS™ device for white powder incidents, and BBI’s wider product portfolio.
The DECPOL® Emergency Decontamination Mitt was officially launched at the IAFC Hazmat conference last week in Baltimore.
