The U.S. Department of Defense has recently awarded the following notable contracts related to the field of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) or explosives countermeasures, equipment or services:
Manson Construction Co., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a maximum amount of $19,228,000 to increase the dollar value under a previously awarded firm-fixed-priced contract (N62473-11-C-2850).
The work to be performed provides for screening of dredge materials generated from Pier 12 replacement project for discarded military munitions and radiological debris at Naval Base San Diego. The dredging around Pier 12 is to accommodate the Navy’s deeper draft vessels.
After award of this modification, the total cumulative contract value will be $105,497,695. Work is expected to be completed by May 2016.
