The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Response Directorate is seeking capability statements from businesses that can provide Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Explosive (CBRNE) subject matter experts and technical support for programs within FEMA’s CBRNE Office.
The CBRNE Office is organized as part of the Office of the Assistant Administrator for Response and supports FEMA’s all-hazards mission to improve the readiness and capability to respond in the event of a CBRNE incident. To achieve this objective the CBRNE Office completes analysis, development and maintenance of required response capabilities.
FEMA’s CBRNE Office contains two units, the Improvised Nuclear Device (IND) as well as the CBRNE Programs Unit. The CBRNE Office is responsible for the following programs:
- Improvised Nuclear Device Response and Recovery (R&R)
- Nuclear/Radiological Incident Prevention Program (NRIPP)
- Interagency Modeling and Atmospheric Assessment Center (IMAAC)
- Chemical/Biological (C/B)
- Domestic Emergency Response Team (DEST)
- Nuclear Incident Response Team (NIRT)
The selected contractor will provide subject matter experts for program management and technical support to these programs, including coordination with interagency stakeholders as required.
