The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded new contracts to RadiaBeam Technologies LLC in support of “Exploratory Research in Preventing Nuclear and Radiological Terrorism”.
The contracts are Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Completion Contracts awarded in response to the FY14 Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) solicitation HSHQDC-14-R-B0011 on behalf of DHS’ Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) Transformational and Applied Research (TAR) Directorate.
Contract HSHQDC-15-C-B0022 is valued at $964,846 and is for work entitled “Inexpensive, High-Performance Betatron X-ray Source.”
Contract HSHQDC-15-C-B0025 is valued at $1,499,846 for unspecified work.
RadiaBeam Technologies, based in Santa Monica, California, manufactures particle accelerator components, diagnostics and turnkey accelerator systems, and additionally provides terahertz optics and detectors.
