Federal Resource Supply Co. of Stevensville, Maryland, was awarded a $36,703,480 firm-fixed-price contract for urban operation platoon sets with enhanced capabilities for missions in complex or urbanized terrain. The components include explosive and chemical gas detectors, and various other rescue and hand tools.
Funding and work location will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 20, 2017. Bids were solicited via the Internet, with four received. Army Contracting Command, Tank and Automotive (Warren), Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity (W56HZV-15-D-0015).
