nFocus Solutions, a provider of tactical planning and situational awareness software for public safety, has been awarded a contract by the Phoenix Police Department to provide GeoSuite, cutting-edge public safety software, for Super Bowl XLIX.
With GeoSuite, all first responders in the surrounding areas will be able to rapidly search for and obtain all relevant information in their area of operations using one single application—saving time and resources. GeoSuite also allows for seamless interagency collaboration and communication, including with the federal agencies that support the Super Bowl event.
“We are honored to be selected as the key public safety solution for this year’s Super Bowl. By adding Glendale, Scottsdale and Tempe to the existing regional ecosystem, we will provide a powerful level of collaboration across the Phoenix metropolitan area that will help these agencies plan and protect the public throughout this event,” said Ananda Roberts, President of nFocus Solutions.
GeoSuite has been in operation in the Arizona Counter Terrorism Information Center since 2013, enabling planning and execution of major events by Phoenix Police, Phoenix Fire and Arizona Department of Public Safety. By aggregating computer-aided dispatch calls and vehicle location information from each agency, GeoSuite provides a powerful way to see a tactical picture of major events involving multiple agencies.
The Phoenix regional system is also complemented by TraxSolutions Critical Infrastructure Management System (CIMS), also developed by nFocus Solutions. CIMS enables the collection and management of all critical infrastructure across the state, where it can be managed and made visible to first responders in the GeoSuite system during field response.
