The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Contracting Center (RICC) is seeking sources for handheld explosives and narcotics trace detectors.
The system must be ruggedized, lightweight, powered by rechargeable battery, conduct automated detection screening, and have an embedded GPS.
The detection system must be capable of detect the following explosives and narcotics:
- Nitrate Esters
- Inorganic Nitrates
- Chlorates and Derivates
- Able to detect the following narcotics:
- Ecstasy (MDMA)
- Acid (LSD)
- Synthetic cannabis
