The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has recently awarded several contracts in support of the Wearable Intelligent Nuclear Detection (WIND) Advanced Technology Demonstration.
WIND is a new capability for high-confidence, high-precision detection, identification and localization of stationary or moving radiological or nuclear threats in an urban environment.
The following contracts were awarded:
- Physical Sciences, Inc. (HSHQDN-16-C-00011) – $4,837,559
- Passport Systems, Inc. (HSHQDN-16-C-00012) – $4,376,707
- Leidos, Inc. (HSHQDN-16-C-00014) – $5,223,410
- Bubble Technology Industries, Inc. (HSHQDN-16-C-00015) – $3,339,169.28
