New Jersey is Ready!

Always Be Training Recently members of our Hazardous Materials Response Unit (HMRU) had the chance to participate in a joint training with the New Jersey National Guard 21st Civil Support Team (CST) and New Jersey State Police Bomb Unit. The training was given by chemical, biological and explosive subject matter experts from Dugway Proving Grounds, Utah. Several days of instruction were conducted at Middlesex County Fire Academy. The final day concluded with a joint training exercise at Metlife Stadium. This was a great opportunity to train together for the possibility of real world threats that we face today. We’re always training…are you?
