The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has announced intentions to award a contract to Defense Group, Inc. for an effort entitled “DTRA Nuclear Survivability Program Guidebook.”
The scope of this effort is to update the guidebook to integrate the Program Manager/Program Office feedbacks and to update and validate the information for consistency with the newly signed DoDI 3150.09 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Survivability Policy w/Change 1 and CJCSI 3170.01J titled Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (if reissued).
The guidebook will serve as an informative as it will be used as a training aid for Program Managers.
As the author of the Guidebook, and therefore the organization most familiar with its detailed structure and contents, DGI is uniquely qualified to work with the government to determine what comments should be integrated into the document,” states the announcement. “DGI already has the necessary search tools, repository, and distribution methods (SAFE) established.”
