The U.S. federal government has recently awarded the following notable contract related to the fields of anti-terrorism, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) or explosives countermeasures, equipment or services:
Leidos Inc., Reston, Virginia, is being awarded a $33,940,895 modification under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N39430-13-C-1201) to exercise option period two for anti-terrorism/force protection global sustainment at Navy regions worldwide.
The work to be performed provides for preventative and corrective maintenance, repair and replacement, service calls and systems/software upgrades for anti-terrorism/force protection ashore equipment.
The total contract amount after exercise of this option will be $95,341,813. Work will be performed worldwide and work is expected to be completed March 2016.
The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, California, is the contracting activity.
