US Coast Guard Industry Day 2016

The U.S. Coast Guard Chief of the Contracting Office (COCO) for HQs will be hosting an FY16 Industry Day Event on May 2, 2016 in support of the following USCG HQ Directorates/Commands:

• Human Resources (CG-1)
• Assistant Commandant for Marine Safety Security and Stewardship (CG-5)
• Force Readiness Command (FORCECOM)
• Assistant Commandant for Capability (CG-7)
• Planning Resources and Procurement (CG-8)
• Assistant Commandant for Acquisition (CG-9)

The USCG HQ Industry Day Event is designed to promote meaningful exchange for greater understanding of Coast Guard needs, and expanded awareness of industry capabilities.

The event will include CG-912 Procurement Team updates of anticipated requirements for the upcoming year, followed by respective break-out sessions for one-on-one discussions including Q&A’s reference specific Acquisition Planning Forecast System opportunities.

Industry representatives are also asked to provide feedback about how the CGHQ Office of Contract Operations can better communicate with industry during the pre-award, solicitation and post-award contract phases, prior to the upcoming industry day event.
