Joint Patient Safety Reporting (JPSR) Contract Award to Datix USA

A contract in support of the Department of Defense Joint Patient Safety Reporting (JPSR) system will be awarded to Datix (USA), Inc. of Chicago, Illinois under a U.S. Army sole-source award.

Datix (USA), Inc. is the sole proprietor of the JPSR Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) licenses, code maintenance and configuration, and application services.

The JPSR system was fully deployed in 2010 as a tri-service web-based system to provide standardized patient safety event reporting and investigation data collection and data analysis capability for the Military Health System’s (MHS) direct care facilities and theater operations. JPSR provides analytic tools to identify areas for patient safety and quality improvement initiatives to achieve goals for reducing the frequency and severity of medical safety events.

The U.S. Army Medical Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is the contracting authority.
