Nuclear and Radiation Studies Board: 43rd Meeting

The Nuclear and Radiation Studies Board (NRSB) welcomes members of the public to join them for a hybrid meeting November 7-8, 2023, both online and in-person, in Washington, DC.

The NRSB will address a number of topics from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).

Highlighted agenda items include:

• U.S. Department of Energy’s Approach to Complex-Wide PFAS Characterization, Treatment, and Source Disposal
• U.S. Department of Energy’s Isotope Production Program
• American Nuclear Society’s Report on Generic Standards for Disposal of High-
  Level Waste
• Updates on U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Radiation Protection Division

The mission of the NRSB is to provide an open forum for discussion, and organize and oversee studies on safety, security, technical efficacy, and other policy and societal issues arising from the application of nuclear and radiation-based technologies.

Registration is required to attend the 43rd meeting of the NRSB.
