Cubic Awarded Air Force CBRN Contract

Cubic Applications Inc, San Diego, California, has been awarded a $9,900,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for solutions to enhance the U.S. Air Force Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) counterproliferation and survivability missions program.

Cubic will provide research, test, evaluate, and analyze short-term and long-term CBRN technologies. Work will be performed at San Diego, California; Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio; MacDill Air Force Base, Florida; and Camp Smith, Hawaii, and is expected to be complete by Jan. 5, 2020.

This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with one offer received. Fiscal year 2014 research and development funds in the amount of $2,688,779 are being obligated at the time of award for the first task order. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-15-D-6580).
