The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Combating Terrorism Division of the Research and Development Directorate would like to establish a contract with a range facility to conduct testing of fielded Department of Defense (DoD) Energetic Systems.
DoD Energetic Systems include Radio Frequency Firing Systems, hardwired firing systems, novel energetics, Homemade Explosives (HMEs), Reactive Material Projectiles, Explosively Formed Projectiles, Shaped Charges, Explosively Fired Plates, fragmenting warheads and Lasers.
The Contractor shall conduct the range test events with DTRA & Special Operations Command (SOCOM) personnel observing.
Tests may include the following:
- Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Critical Node Defeat
- Dynamic/energetic interdiction of mobile transport conveyances
- Reactive Materials, Thermites & Intermetallics
- Ability to conduct Laser testing desired, but not required.
DTRA is seeking eligible performers who are qualified to conduct and accomplish the specified requirements to submit capability statements.
