Toxic, Hazardous and Radioactive Waste Remediation

The U.S. Department of Defense has recently awarded the following notable contract related to the fields of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) or explosives countermeasures, equipment or services:

The following corporations were awarded an $185,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee order dependent multiple award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) task order contract to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, N.W. Division and the Environmental Protection Agency, Region 2 for toxic, hazardous, and radioactive waste remediation for government civilian and military agencies:

  • Conti Federal Services Inc., Edison, New Jersey
  • Sevenson Environmental Services Inc., Niagara Falls, New York
  • Environmental Chemical Corp., Burlingame, California
  • Arcadis U.S. Inc., Highlands Ranch, Colorado
  • Tetra Tech EC Inc., Langhorne, Pennsylvania
  • URS Group, Inc., Omaha, Nebraska
  • CDM Joint Venture, Fairfax, Virginia
  • Obg/Baker Federal Solutions Joint Venture, Moon Township, Pennsylvania
  • CH-Cape Joint Venture, Englewood, Colorado

Funding and work location will be determined with each order with an estimated completion date of Jan. 7, 2020. Bids were solicited via the Internet with 10 received. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Missouri, is the contracting activity.
