Nuclear and Radiation Studies Board: 44th Meeting

The Nuclear and Radiation Studies Board (NRSB) will convene on June 6, 2024, both online and in-person, at the Keck Center in Washington, DC.

NRSB welcomes members of the public to join them as they explore topics of the Department of Energy’s plans for disposal of spent nuclear fuel and high-level waste, the National Nuclear Security Administration’s support for and updates on medical isotope production without the use of highly enriched uranium, latest scientific advancements on FLASH technology and high-dose rate cancer treatment, and Los Alamos National Laboratory’s nuclear programs relevant for NRSB, including nuclear security, neutron science, radioactive waste management, and securing disused radioactive sources.
