Laying the Foundation for New and Advanced Nuclear Reactors in the United States

In this 75-minute open session, Ashley Finan, Director of the National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) will present a brief overview of NRIC activities for the first 15-20 minutes, and the remainder of the time will be reserved for Q&A and discussion with the committee. This virtual meeting will be open to the public, but due to time constraints we will not be accepting questions from the public at this information gathering event.

NRIC accelerates the demonstration and deployment of advanced nuclear energy through its mission to inspire stakeholders and the public, empower innovators, and deliver successful outcomes. NRIC is a national Department of Energy program led by Idaho National Laboratory, a member of the U.S. National Laboratory System.
